  • Managing Partner

    Moritz brings international sports, media, and brand-building expertise to Protagonist Partners. His career spans leading roles at Axel Springer, Media Impact, Ceconomy AG (MediaMarkt / Saturn), and OneFootball. At OneFootball, he was responsible for driving brand partnerships across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East, working with global advertisers and rights holders to shape impactful digital campaigns.
    Most recently, Moritz served as Vice President Global Advertising at Axel Springer SE, overseeing international commercial strategy and agency relations for some of the world’s largest brands.
    At Protagonist Partners, Moritz combines his global network and strategic mindset to create authentic connections between brands, athletes, and culture.

  • Managing Partner

    Daniel has spent more than two decades shaping the intersection of sport, sponsorship, and storytelling. After early leadership roles at VfL Wolfsburg and OneFootball, where he helped expand the commercial footprint and build partnerships between global brands and the two companies.
    He later joined SPORTFIVE, one of the world’s leading sports marketing agencies, as Global Director Sales within the Athlete & Team Marketing division. In this role, Daniel led international brand partnerships for top-tier athletes, clubs, and federations including global activations with Jürgen Klopp, Manuel Neuer, Alexander Zverev, Boris Becker and strategic collaborations with teams such as the Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Atlético Madrid, Kansas City Chiefs, Al Nassr FC or Real Madrid. His work spanned Europe and the United States, building bridges between sports, culture, and commerce.
    At Protagonist Partners, Daniel brings this experience to the next chapter connecting rightsholders and brands through creative, data-driven partnerships that resonate globally.
